 | To most people, Xiao Meng does not hold the appearance of a man but rather of young beautiful woman. Perhaps it is because of his plump rosy cheeks and cherry-hued lips that give him such an appearance or perhaps it’s because of the long brown hair that flows past his shoulders. Whichever the case, Meng it’s an attractive young man who looks a few years shy of twenty. Normally donning the dull hues of less elaborate robes and armor, Xiao Meng’s pretty face and petite statue makes him seem as if he is merely a little girl playing dress up in her big brother’s clothing.
However, once Meng adopts his alias of “Diao Chan”, gone is his manly attire replaced with clothing seemingly for suitable for his feminine form. As Diao Chan, he comes off as a graceful and artistic performer with a dance so enchanting that makes those who know of his secret question if his claims to be a ‘man’ are true. His costume as Diao Chan is made with shimmering pink silks of various coral-like shades. Gold bracelets don his wrists and exquisite pearls hang around his neck.
Only when he is performing as her that Meng wears such a flashy wardrobe, while usually he just wears a pair of slacks with long tunic. |
